Hello,

Here we are looking at the first of June and the last month of the school year for many. It is hard to believe that the school year is done and most of the students are looking forward to a new grade and the summer break.

This past school year was a great one for me with many new and varied experiences. Teaching at some new schools, speaking engagements in new areas and lots of new students.

This Month's Drawing - Waterskiing

The drawing page for this month is a focus on Father's Day as well as a focus on one of the activities that many students (and teachers) might find themselves involved with this summer.

Where I live we have many great lakes and camping areas and often in the summer there are many water skiing boats on the lake. Hopefully here on the "wet coast" we will get summer started before Father's Day but if not we can at least have a drawing of something associated with the summer.

Please remember to boat "safe" and have a great summer.

What's New

Earlier in the spring I approached a teacher's store to see if the would carry my books and DVDs. I am happy to announce that Vernon Teach and Learn in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada is now carrying my products.

Summer Holidays

Summer Holidays are coming quickly, perhaps too quickly for some of you teachers, and perhaps not fast enough for others. My summer is going to be quite busy as I will be overseas with my family in the Baltics.

The plan is to teach some summer school at the University of Tallinn in Estonia and to do a bit of sightseeing. I am very much looking forward to being there as Estonia in general is very "art" oriented with lots of focus on music, fine art and writing. I will be taking along my sketch pad and camera and will try to capture what we see with both mediums.

I hope that each of you have a great end to your school year and a very safe summer holiday. Take care and there will be more newsletters again in the fall!
